EGAT's component Line Replacement Unit (LRU) overhaul facilities have been set up to address long turn-arounds of repairs by other vendors primarily based in the continental US and Europe.

In addition, it is an integral constituent of total service value to the airline customer. When aircraft are undergoing airframe maintenance, and the need for serviceable components arise from functional tests, the airframe customer possesses the option at EGAT to outsource the unserviceable component and replace with another good unit in stock or send them into EGAT's shops for expedient repairs.
