On
December 18th, 2007, EGAT and Go Air signed an IAE V2500-A5 engine overhaul agreement. The first V2500-A5 engine will be accomplished in February 2008, which marks EGAT has successfully stepped into India engine market.
GoAir was established in June 2004, it is a finest low fare airline based in Mumbai, India. It operates domestic passenger services to 13 cities with 385 weekly flights and plans to expand the current fleet to 18 numbers by March 2009 and to 34 numbers by March 2011.
This is the second maintenance service agreement from Go Air in addition to the current service on A320 heavy maintenance.
