| EGAT performs V2500 Engine Overhauls for China Eastern Airlines. |

On Jul 11th , 2008, EGAT made further inroads with a small step when China Eastern signed an agreement with EGAT for the overhaul of three (3) V2500 engines overhaul. The first engine was delivered to EGAT on JUL/23 and is expected to be completed by Sep. 15th.
China Eastern, one of three Chinese state-owned large key aviation enterprise groups, is a 2002 merger with China Xi Bei Airlines and Yunnan Airlines into the original China Eastern Group.
Headquartered in Shanghai, its large fleet comprises A320、A330、A340、B737、B767、MD-90、CRJ-200、ERJ-145. In addition to domestic flights，it operates international routes to connect with Asia, Europe, Australia and Americas.
