The Evergreen Group of Companies, though its corporate Evergreen flagship and of which EGAT is a constituent member, celebrated its 40th anniversary on September 1st. It started off with the Evergreen Marine Corporation in September 1968, comprising of one small vessel, to become a global shipping icon, along with vertically and laterally integrated enterprises that cover land transportation, air transportation, logistics, engineering, hotels, and travel management services.

The Evergreen Group's corporate culture of "Challenge, Innovation and Teamwork" had provided the foundation by which it became the familiar icon during the past 4 decades. Its culture will continue to underpin Evergreen Group's ethical business excellence and growth into its next 40-year cycle.
