On Jul 08th , 2009, EGAT had been awarded by China Eastern Airlines for the overhaul of three (3) CF6-80C2 and four (4) V2500-D5 engines.
China Eastern, one of three Chinese state-owned large key aviation enterprise groups, is a 2002 merger with China Xi Bei Airlines and Yunnan Airlines into the original China Eastern Group.
Headquartered in Shanghai, its large fleet comprises A320、A330、A340、B737、B767、MD-90、CRJ-200、ERJ-145. In addition to domestic flights, it operates international routes to connect with Asia, Europe, Australia and Americas.
