| EGAT Commences MRO Business Partnership With Orient Thai Airlines. |
|
Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. (EGAT) has inked an agreement with Orient Thai Airlines (Orient Thai) to provide Airframe Heavy Maintenance check on its B767-300 airframe, registered under HS-BKB. As Asia’s first international charter operator as well as Thailand’s largest domestic carrier, Orient Thai is also engaged in the supply chain of UN’s peacekeeping mission and refugee transport. Besides its UN role, it also supports Hajj pilgrim flights to Saudi Arabia on behalf of other carriers.
Since its inception in 1994, Orient Thai has since renewed and expanded its initial fleet of Lockheed Tristars L1011and B747 Classics, to sixteen (16) currently active fleet that include B737, B747-400, B767, and MD-80.
