Business Integrity
In a rapidly changing business world, companies must make the right choices according to the highest ethical standards when facing complex decisions, fulfill corporate responsibilities to employees, investors, and society, comply with laws and regulations, and build an integrity image trusted by the public. Accordingly, EGAT has referred to domestic regulations and international standards to formulate the Code of Business Integrity, Procedures for Ethical Management and Guidelines for Conduct, Code of Ethical Conduct, Supply Chain Sustainability Policy, and Supplier Code of Conduct. These standards guide all employees, agents, suppliers, and other business partners in their operations and jointly build a fair and transparent industry environment.

Enforcement of Business Integrity
To strengthen business integrity management, the Human Resources unit is responsible for formulating integrity policies and prevention plans, supervising their implementation, and reporting to the Board of Directors at least once a year. Regulations such as the Code of Business Integrity, Procedures for Ethical Management and Guidelines for Conduct, and Code of Ethical Conduct are published on the employee portal for employees to follow. Company supervisors also communicate related concepts and viewpoints to employees through regular or ad hoc meetings and emails to ensure that EGAT personnel act in accordance with ethical standards and integrity requirements. New suppliers are required to sign the Supplier Code of Conduct, qualified suppliers sign again every three years, and other contractor training is provided to jointly strengthen supply chain integrity governance. In 2025, two contractor training sessions on business integrity and ethics were held.
Since September 2023, standards related to ethical conduct and business integrity have been incorporated into pre-employment training for new hires. E-learning courses are also provided to current employees, covering the Code of Business Integrity, Procedures for Ethical Management and Guidelines for Conduct, Code of Ethical Conduct, and prevention of insider trading. In 2025, 3,257 new and current employees completed training, representing 100% of all employees. For employee categories, please refer to 5.1.1 Talent Recruitment.
EGAT also assesses corruption-related risks across units. In 2025, the assessment covered three operating sites, with 100% coverage, and no significant corruption risks were identified. In addition, EGAT found no incidents of dishonesty or unfair competition in 2025.
