Human Rights and Workers' Rights

EGAT has established its Human Rights Policy Declaration in accordance with international human rights standards, including the International Bill of Human Rights (including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the two Covenants), the International Labour Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). By integrating human rights principles into the Company's values and culture, EGAT demonstrates its commitment to human rights protection. The policy clearly states respect for employee human rights. In addition to following the principles of no child labor and no forced labor, EGAT is committed to promoting a diverse, inclusive, and friendly workplace. Employment, promotion, appraisal, transfer, training, career development, and reward opportunities are provided equally without different treatment based on gender, religion, race, or other factors, enabling all employees to apply their professional strengths without restriction and contribute to corporate growth and sustainable development. The Company has also established open and transparent labor-management communication channels and conducts regular audits and performance reviews. To ensure human rights risks are properly managed, EGAT plans to conduct human rights due diligence in the future to comprehensively identify potential human rights risks in operations and establish mitigation and remediation measures to further strengthen operational resilience.

Respect for Diversity and Inclusion

In addition to ensuring equal protection regardless of gender, religion, race, and other factors, EGAT actively uses systems, activities, and training to promote inclusion and mutual respect. To implement gender equality, the Company provides flexible working hours. Employees raising children under the age of three may apply to reduce or adjust working hours; two employees applied in 2025. EGAT also held a Vietnamese Employee Care Day in 2025, inviting agency representatives and Vietnamese employees to participate together and promote understanding of different cultures; approximately 21 employees from the manufacturing plant attended. EGAT also holds Family Day each year during aircraft maintenance intervals, allowing employees' family members and friends to visit the Company and learn about work environments and job content. This helps bring the workplace and families closer together and strengthen identification with the Company. A total of 807 employees, family members, and friends participated.

Prevention and Handling of Sexual Harassment, Gender Discrimination, and Workplace Bullying

To prevent and actively handle workplace sexual harassment, gender discrimination, bullying, and related incidents, EGAT has established rules and procedures such as the Prevention Plan for Unlawful Infringement in the Performance of Duties. New employees also receive training on the Act of Gender Equality in Employment and sexual harassment prevention, with 162 participants. In 2025, EGAT had no workplace sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying, or other unlawful infringement incidents.

  2. Follow-up Handling and Notice of ResolutionIf the respondent is a Company employee and the case is verified, action will be taken according to management rules depending on severity. A resolution and explanation of handling results shall be completed within 30 working days from acceptance of the complaint.
  3. Objection and AppealIf the complainant or respondent objects to the resolution, an appeal may be filed within 20 working days after receiving the notice.
